Maybe We Should Cut Back the TV

This morning, as we were walking into the local mega-store, N~ noticed an older gentleman who was loading a motorized wheelchair into his van.

“What is that, Mommy?”

It is a wheelchair.

“How does it move?”

It has wheels, and a motor that makes the wheels go.

“Oh, like on TV–doo doo doo, Hoveround!”

Good grief. As if that wasn’t bad enough (hilarious as it may have been), he then proceeded to tell me that he doesn’t like that commercial because “it’s just a bunch of old people.”

Nice. It is amazing how funny they can be without ever realizing it.

I fail to see the humor. No Capri Suns to kids who don’t like geezers.
