Pillow Talk

Him: You know, I really hate it that you aren’t ticklish. It seems like an unfair advantage.

Me: Hmmm. Well, you know, control issues.

Him: Hey, I have control issues, too. That’s why I hate being so ticklish.

Me: Well, I was ticklish when I was a kid, you know.

Him: So, what? Did you just will it to go away?

Me: Um, yeah, basically.

Him: What the heck went so terribly wrong in your childhood???

Wrong question, Sean. It’s “What went so terribly right in your childhood that made you stong enough to overcome your weakness (ticklishness)?”

Mind over matter. Or maybe not; who knows?

  2. I’m the same way – used to be ticklish and still can be (don’t tell Tyler) if I’m caught off-guard. ;o)

  3. Jill,

I can be caught off guard, too, but Sean doesn’t know that. And I’m not telling. šŸ™‚

    Mom,

So says the woman who I got the idea to turn it off from!
